Valerian make me feel sleepy and relaxed. If you aren't contained by the mood for sleepy then I wouldn't bear them. They are also used to help family go to sleep. Soo, I'm not sure roughly the stress issue. Probably.
I heard they be to calm you down and backing you sleep. I don't know if they work or not
